A great burger with fries — perfect size and packed with flavor. It was the only time I’ve had a burger with a truly fresh tomato! The bread was grilled and fresh too. I ordered the ‘BUNGALOW’ and it was a fantastic experience. On top of that, the atmosphere and music were on point — you really have to experience it for yourself
Pretty alright! Visiting from ATL and dropped by for a quick bite. Got one of the burgers with the bacon in it and it was pretty good! The bartender is nice and the food came at a good time. A little pricy but eh, oh well.
Good food, great service, amazing atmosphere. If you are near this local joint and want a burger and fries, you should definitely stop here. The Big Gun Sauce is almost worth a visit alone! Also, for a downtown burger, the price was very reasonable.
As burger connoisseurs, this was our first stop for our anniversary weekend in Charleston. We will get burgers here again on our next visit! Perfectly cooked burgers, delicious fries, and fantastic bartending and have to add the cold refreshing beer. Note that ordering at the bar is the way here. Big Gun is kind of a small place with a tavern atmosphere and a pool table in back. We loved it!
We were visiting from Texas for a week and decided to give Big Gunn Bar a try—and wow, what a hidden gem! It’s a total hole-in-the-wall in the best way possible. We couldn’t stop talking about this place the entire trip. The burgers and fries were incredible—juicy, flavorful, and that sauce? I don’t know what they put in it, but it was amazing. You just can’t beat their Happy Hour prices either! We had plenty of meals during our stay that cost 10x more, but when all was said and done, Big Gunn was hands down the best place we ate. Everyone there was super friendly, and we had an awesome time. Highly recommend!
Was alone and hungry on a Monday night. Perfect place to sit down and chill with friends. Great music and simple but just the best Classic burger and fries. The bartender was also super nice. Had a wonderful time! Andddd, don't forget the beer

Fantastic service. Staying at Hotel Bennett, ordered online, food was ready in 25 minutes. Walked across Marion Square (less than 5 min walk) and was welcomed in. We had our 14 year old chihuahua with us and the barman said we were more than welcome to come in with him. Super friendly and tasty food! Great alternative if you’re looking for an alternative quick meal. Plus, walking back we got a lovely view of the church and hotel....see pic
